Supporting Children 5-12years through Child and Youth Work.

Our Child and Youth Workers provide strengths-based, practical support for children ages 5 to 12 as they grow emotionally, socially, and academically. Services may focus on building emotional regulation, coping skills, confidence, communication, friendship and social skills, behaviour support, and problem-solving strategies. Child and Youth Workers can also help children navigate anxiety, school-related stress, attention and focus challenges, self-esteem concerns, and family transitions. Using engaging, age-appropriate approaches such as play-based activities, skill-building exercises, and collaborative goal setting, they help children develop tools for success at home, at school, and in everyday life. Parent collaboration and school advocacy may also be included to create consistent support across environments.
